The beer after dispensing from the 12-ounce brown bottle sets in the glass a golden amber color with a portly in size white semi-creamy head, and the lace a fine sealing sheet upon the glass. Nose is sweet malt, fresh and clean and the start slightly sweet with a nice malt profile, top is light to medium in its feel. Finish is moderate in acidity, the hops pertinent to the style with the aftertaste dry and a real nice drinking beer.

Medium amber brown color, Medium head. Aroma is malty and a touch floral. A medium bodied “bitter”. Malts are mild and nutty. Hops are citrusy, floral and bitter. A mild version of the classic English bitter. Very drinkable. It is somewhat over-carbonated. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter.

From 12 oz bottle from Corti Bros in Sacramento that cost $1.49. Poured light brown with a fat white head and good lacing. Nose of caramel malts, fruti, and citrus hops. Smooth mouthfeel. Nice flavors of light malts and hops, and a medium bitter finish. Very easy to drink. Nice beer.

~Pours a cloudy orange color with diminishing white head. ~Light scent of citrus and caramel malts. Makes a somewhat raisin like scent. ~Citrusy malt flavor. ~Medium feel, lingering mild citrus finish. ~Fairly simple bitter. Enjoyable. I like it.

Bottle labeled "Best Bitter Ale" from Corti Bros., Sacramento. The aroma is so roasted it smacks of coffee! Hazy tea/amber color with a white head that barely arrived. Very smooth, medium body with light, creamy carbonation. Some stone fruit comes forth, and the roasted malt is right there. Must be bitter floral hop or something, because there is a lot of bitter, but no citrus or resin. It certainly fits an English bitter style, but it is different. A bit harsher in the finish, perhaps. Good ale.

Bottle: Called English Amber Ale: Golden brown, puffy creamy head, lots of carbonation. Nose of light metal, acidic hops and light caramel. The flavor is nutty and toffee, lots of bitter hops, stubtle roast. The finish is toasty, a lightly jammy fruity tail. Eh, nothing.

Growler poured a hazy amber with a small disapating amber head. Aromas of carmel, fruittiness and light earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness and light citrus with a smooth carmely finish. Tasty session beer!
