Pours a cloudy amber with a thin ring of bubbles. Smells of sweet malt, dough, some spice. Tastes of sugar, molasses and some peppery splashes. Unbalanced and overdone.

12 oz bottle from bottletrek.com. Pours a cloudy straw with zero head. Aroma of mild yeast and spice. Flavor is similiar with a slight fruit zestiness. A bit watered down, but a nice dry finish. Mild acohol warmth. I do not think it is true to style, but I did like it.

Aroma of yeast and a hint of clove. Hazy gold color with a white head that left rapidly. Starts with Belgian yeast/clove spice. Seems to be some fruity citrus that’s a bit sweet. Makes me think more Belgian than French Saison. The finish is reasonably dry, and the spice stays. The hop seems muted, if it’s there. Doesn’t it have to be there? Maybe the spice is confusing. Anyway it is quite tasty stuff. Highly recommended.

Bottled. Beer is slightly cloudy medium caramel with a small, off-white, frothy, mostly and quickly diminishing head.
The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted nuts, toasted grain, moderate note of sticky caramel; Hoppy with a light grassy note; Light miscellaneous note of alcohol.
The flavor is moderately sweet, trace acidic with a longish, lightly bitter, light-to-moderately sweet finish. No finishing dryness.
The body is light, the texture is watery-to-syrupy and the carbonation is average.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (grain, malt syrup), with notes of candy sugar, clove, light note of vegetation. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Nowhere near enough finishing dryness, but you can tell it’s gonna be that way from the sugary nose. Not a good example of the style, and really just kind of a vague Belgian blond ale.

Pours a clear dark golden with a thin ring of wispy white head. Sweet, biscuity Belgian malty aroma has a doughy yeasty character and a hint of grassiness. Starts lightly sugary sweet with some earthy spiced balance and a drier, bready finish. Fairly authentic and well-balanced.

Strangely malty saison, with no crisp herbal parts - it’s all butter and bread! Nice bright yellow color, nice oily body, hay and grass complement the slightly sweet breadiness. Weird, though.
