Bottled. Hazy golden, near no head. Aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and raspberries. Medium sweet and medium bodied with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Rather spicy with a somewhat salty finish with medium bitternesss. A good beer, but the malt profile is not on par with the best examples of the style.

Sourish, malty saison. Touches of leather, and wood. Relatively full body and refreshingly crisp finish. My kind of saison.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of cloves, citrus, fruitiness, caramel, apples, and a little funky. Tastes of fruitiness (pears with some sweet apples), spicy, bready, and some caramel.

Pours a clear dark golden with a thin ring of wispy white head. Sweet, biscuity Belgian malty aroma has a doughy yeasty character and a hint of grassiness. Starts lightly sugary sweet with some earthy spiced balance and a drier, bready finish. Fairly authentic and well-balanced.

Pours a cloudy amber with a thin ring of bubbles. Smells of sweet malt, dough, some spice. Tastes of sugar, molasses and some peppery splashes. Unbalanced and overdone.

Bottle: Misty gold color, light head and lacing. The nose is a bit malty with some pale and pilsner malts, spicy yeast esters, tons of coriander and clove with a bright orange note. A full sweet pale malt flavor that’s nearly cloying when it pairs with the spice and yeast zest. The finish is grassy and sweet; very spicy. Needs more carbonation, a bit more funk and a bit less sweetness.
