Nov 26, 2008 On tap at brewpub. Darker than most pale ales. Tasty British style malt. Good hop balance - grassy earthy. Very drinkable, smooth palate. Very good.

Jul 18, 2008 Thanks to Valley Steve for this one. Pours an interesting dark copper with minimal head. Nose is quite maly and mellow sweet. The flavor is quite enjoyable with malt dominating, an earthy mid, and a very subtle hop dry finish. Not a hint of alcohol. Smooth on the palate.

Jul 18, 2008 Pleasantly surprised, very tasty. If I were to compare this to Sierra Nevada, this would beat Sierra hands down. Great balance of malt and hops.

Apr 10, 2008 Bottle> Pure amber, highly active, bringing an enticing activity level and a living head. The aroma is alluring as well, full of sweet cereals. As if the intent all along was to stick to the breakfast theme, this drinks like a liquid Wheat Chex, full of rich, malty cereal grains, but enticingly sweet and enjoyable. quite a good beer, actually.(#3397, 4/10/2008)

Jul 24, 2007 Bottle from Capone’s. Turbid deep orangy pour with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of bready caramel malt, orange marmalade, spicy florals, slight funk, and peppery notes. The taste was bready caramel malt, some earthy hops, pepper, and spicy floral notes. This one came across like a Belgian themed IPA such as Urthel Hop it, and was quite good.

Apr 30, 2008 From a 12 oz bottle this poured a very clear light copper color with a nice fat white head and good lacing. Off to a good start. The nose is of caramel malts with whiffs of citrus and fruity hops. Medium mouthfeel but smooth. Flavor is of hops, and the finish is nicely bitter. Pretty easy to drink.

Aug 20, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Dark citrus aroma along with sweet caramel and light stone fruit. Nice amber color with a white head that quickly filmed. Thin to medium body. Near creamy carbonation. The flavor is complex. Earth, citrus, caramel, tobacco?, light stone fruits. The finish is earthy hop, and a touch of orange. Really something good.
