Aroma is bourbon, chocolate, vanilla, caramel. Flavor is bourbon blast, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, coconut, caramel. Palate is silky smooth with a full body, mild carbonation, and boozy finish. Definitely bourbon forward, but not over the top. Very well done.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 1, 2009 Growler courtesy of markwise, thanks! It pours deep darkness with wafer thin off white head. The aroma is oak, vanilla, some chocolate brownie and a touch of roasty to burnt malts. The taste is thick tasty chocolate fudge like brownie to go along with vanilla, a modest level of oak and bourbon. It ends toward more vanilla along with lingering bourbon and chocolate. Very tasty stuff.
