| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a orange-red color with a medium fizzy white head that burns away steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of raspberries and malt. Medium body with flavors of tart raspberries, sweet spices and malt. Touches of alcohol as well. The finish is fruity with a mildly hopped aftertaste. Decent overall. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Sample at the brewpub. Opaque reddish pour with a thin off-white head. Huge raspberry aroma with plenty of malt and a noticeable hop presence. Flavor is raspberries right away with sweet malt and some hop bitterness in the finish. Amazingly, the 11.5% alcohol was barely detectable. This drinkable beer could get you in trouble. Could have used some tartness to the fruit, but I respect the fact that it smells and tastes exactly like the description (the double everything part) when compared to regular Razz Wheat. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 27, 2009 Pours a clear red gold, white head. Aroma raspberries, some sweet malts. Flavor, raspberries I guess, some bitterness that really doesn’t mesh well. Very sweet, syrupy almost.
