Jacks Apricot Mango

at jacks. As part of sampler, pale colored beer, basically their Boys of Summer wheat ale with fruit flavorings. Fruit flavorings actually made the beer more enjoyable and refreshing. Not bad.

Got the sampler so this beer came with it. Not a big fan of the fruit beers. Mostly Apricot aromas and flavors. A little bit of Mango comes through but is mostly overpowered by the apricot. Otherwise pretty light and easy to drink.

On tap @ Jacks poured a clear yellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of wheat and light fruit. Palate was light bodioed and smooth. Flavors of wheat, light apricot and a hint of mango with a sweet finish.

Nice tropical fruit aromas, good lacing, a little popcorn, and complimentary bitterness make for a Cali micro with character.
