bennylava (55), California, USA May 24, 2008 @ brewpub. Strangely, this wasn’t offered to me as part of the sampler so I ordered a pint. Nice citrus aroma and very nice biting hop flavor with a little grapefruit and grassy notes. Very enjoyable IPA. Ale_Drinker (1072), Sunnyvale, California, USA May 28, 2007 Nice, very hoppy IPA here. Lots of fruity, citrusy hop flavors. Big bitterness that lingers on. Very well crafted. rmussman (688), California, USA Mar 5, 2007 By far my favorite Jacks brew. Ordered a pitcher and finished most of it myself. Nice medium/dark brown with a nice head. Has a very nice bitter taste that leaves the mouth with a nice flavor. Goes down very smooth. Highly recommended. ratman197 (2274), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 20, 2006 On tap @ Jacks poured a hazy copper with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of tangerine, orange, pine and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of tangerine, orange, pine and light carmel with a smooth dry bitter finish. beerguy101 (3478), Newark, California, USA Sep 11, 2004 Medium amber color. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are floral, grapefruity and bitter. A medium to very bitter IPA. It has quite a hop kick to it. Smooth taste. Nice dry finish. Crisp and clean. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.
