Easily one of the best porters I’ve tried. Extremly rich aromas and flavors. Roasted and burnt malt aromas, also some coffee and chocolate. Mouthfeel is rich and creamy. Goes down very smooth and does not have that acidic bite that many porters have. Superb.

On tap @ Jacks poured a clear dark brownish black with a small diminishing tan head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt, light smoke and bitter chocolate. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee and light smoke with a smooth lingering roasty finish.

Black color, roasted malt aroma. Roasted malts, some hop bite, still not very hoppy. Mouthfeel kind of thin and watery for a porter. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is malty.
