pint_size (1004), Austin, Texas, USA Oct 21, 2007 Updated: Feb 14, 2008 bottle. Transparent amber with average head. More pumpkin and spice in the aroma than other pumpkins. No horrid pumpkin taste - a bit bland with a pumpkin-like aftertaste. Not my least favorite but wouldn’t just die to have another.
daknole (852), Plantation, Florida, USA Oct 10, 2008 Well for a huge macro beer, I suppose this one is ok. Aroma is much like a pumpkin pie. Flavor reminds me of a pumpkin pie mixed with water. Not bad, but certainly no punkin or pumpking!!!! badlizard (1524), San Diego, California, USA Oct 9, 2008 On tap at local pizza joint. Light orange brown with a fizzy off white head. Light pumpkin and spice aroma and watery taste. Nate (2255), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Oct 9, 2008 From bottle. Fairly pleasant spicy pumpkin pie aroma, heavy on the cinnamon and ginger, with light carbonic gaseousness. Mild sweet pumpkin notes. Light amber clear, with creamy off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium to heavy carbonation and a bit of acidic bite. Starts with some pumpkin and caramel malt sweetness, followed by light pumpkin pie spice. Cinnamon and ginger, light allspice. A little bit of spice and bitterness in the finish with a mild clean after. Not a bad pumpkin beer, a little weak, but not the worst I’ve ever tried. Pleasant. CaryTheDude (282), Ripon, Wisconsin, USA Oct 9, 2008 Well, it’s better than the fancy Southern Tier Punking. Got some spices, but so light bodied that it’s just boring. Rciesla (871), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Oct 9, 2008 Pours an amber body with a white creamy head with great retention. Sweet malty cinnamon aroma. Big malt flavor with subtle spices, pumpkin, ginger, clove.
