Sampled at Battersea Beer Festival thanks to Duff. Went down a treat next to the Goller Rauchbier I had along side it. Typical weiss but then they dont really vary that much do they. Bags of banana and vanilla. Nice and creamy and downable as you would expect. Just as the others said I am baffled as to what is wintery about it.

Feb 13, 2006 Bottle. I quite like this brewery. Nice estery banana and clove, soft, round mouthfeel, with some soft citric qualites. Like Dan, i can’t see that this is particulrly wintery in flavour, but its still a nice German Wheat in my book.

Dec 27, 2004 Updated: Dec 28, 2004Bottle at the Criterion, Leicester. Big banana flavour: lacking the usual clove and vanilla effects. Verging on sticky, but still milky and juicy. Refreshing weisse though a weaker example of the style - I can’t see the Winter warmer quality??
