Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a clear ruby colour with a pink head. Aromas of sour cherries, some funk, rose petals. Cherry flavour bursts out with a cloying sweetness with hints of caramel. Finishes sweet with a subtle lemon tang.

(25cl bottle, BB 07/10/09) Pours a clear red body with a small pink head. Aroma of bing cherries, almonds, and sugar. Flavor of sweet cherries and candi sugar.

25 cL bottle. Pours hazy redish and with a small white head. Aroma is almondish cherry. Sweet and cherry flavoured with a mild citric to acidic note into the finish. Sweet and citric finish with a lasting cherry fruity flavour.

Bottle, 4.5%. Weak, but fat, cherry aroma. Hazy deep red colour. Small pink head. The flavour is sweet with a hint of acid, could stem from the cherry. The cherry flavour is quite fat, but not candylike like some Belgian ’’fruit’’ beers.

Clear red with huge pink head. Powerfull sweet aroma with artificial cherries, almond and marzipan notes. Flavor likewise that ends sweet.

Deep ruby red color, fluffy pink manly head. Sweet cherry pips and raspberry scent, sugary. Sweet, acidic, sour cherry taste. A bit lactic, also metallic hints. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

At the Rake with Reakt, 9th April 2008. Bright red with not too much head, this has a stonking aroma of black cherries. Flavour is similar but nicely balanced, not too sour, not too sticky sweet. A decent cherry kriek.
