| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2009 Bottled. A deep red beer with a huge tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, metal, malt, and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, and metal, leading to a sweet, dry, and metallic finish. A bit better than your standard European Strong Lager due to the use of caramel malt, but still with the stiging metal note from the alcohol. sfhodense (554), Odense NØ, Denmark

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 2, 2009 On tap @ EBF 2008. Amber body with a small and disappearing off-white head. Aroma is weak malty with some fruit. Flavor is caramel malt, some bitterness and alcohol. Perhaps a bit too much alcohol to feel balanced. For me this is a bit to typical mainstream Christmas beer.
