Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. moderate malty and light hoppy well balanced aroma. Heavy bitter nice flavor. Moderate bitter average finish. Very dry nice palate. Interresting beer, one of the best Jacobsen so far. saxo (2305), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Feb 3, 2008 Tap at the visitors centre (leftover from Bogforum). Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are pine, malt, hops and caramel. yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 20, 2007 From tap at Bogforum at GADs booth. Pours hazy orange with dense and creamy light orange head. Aroma is mild grapefruity, fresh and a with an underlying acidity. Flavour starts mild sweet but soon goes into a solid bitterness and dryness. Ends solid bitter and with a minor metallic note but also regains some of the fruity tones. Did Jens Eiken cheat again by using a bit of American hops in a Nordic brew (as he did with Pine Bock) - at least Rolf Nielsen said that a bit of cheating had been done :)
