Draught at EsBF09. Good roasted aroma, hint of something citric. Black colour. No head. The flavour starts off like a good porter, and then comes a lactic note. It makes the beer more refreshing, but does not really taste very good.

It’s pitch black with almost no head and clear notes of roasted malt, licorice, chocolate and the added lacto. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, licorice, chocolate and the added lacto is not very strong, but no doubt, it’s there as a not quite unpleasant tartness. An interesting test brew.

Draught. Pitch black colour. Nice roasty maltiness in the aroma with chocolate. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, liquorice and something tart towards the roasty chocolate finish.

Tap @ Ølfestival, Esbjerg, 2009.
Pours completely black with a small, creamy, off-white rim of foam. Aroma is smoky, clear lactose, roasted malts, dark chocolate and a bit of liqourice. Medium carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is rather tart, some yoghurt, roasted malts, chocolate. Long, lingering an lightly tart aftertaste. Nice.
