Picked this up at champanes for 1.50. this is just what I needed after a long day at work. this was a very easy drinking beer. poured a nice light amber with a white head. aroma big time hops and fruit cloves and some sourness. flavor hops , lemon, some pepper, alcohol, light fruits. very easy to drink.

Nov 29, 2009 Bottle. Poures a clear amber orange with a big frothy white head.Complex sweet aroma of malt and dried fruit. Taste is sweet ,notes of marzipan, clove and vanilla. Decent bitter finish.

Nov 28, 2009 Golden colour, creamy white head a little lacing. Aroma is malty, very much so and that’s a disappointment. Thre is some hops, but very discrete. Flavour is mild, again malts, lemon and actually the alcohol sticks out in a way that is disturbing. Mouthfeel is average, crisp. Not worth the hype.

Oct 20, 2009 Bottle, 75cl. Pours a dark orange beer with an offwhite head. The aroma is sweet, hops, grass with notes of dust and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of coriander, yeast, fruit and alcohol. The palate is smooth and a little sticky. Overall an average beer.

Golden, light almost white head.
Yeasty nose, nice.
Weisse-like but stronger. Oranges, slight bitterness, medium carbonation, and alcohol level is OK. Fine beer.

Sep 30, 2009 To me, a beer ingredient list containing the mention "glucose syrup" is normally a beer to avoid. But I hadn’t seen that when I bought the bottle... And so, I wasn’t too enthusiatic about opening the bottle after seeing that. But I haven’t been disappointed with that one, as the result is a pretty well-balanced strong blond, with a dominant fruity side, notes of various but discreet spices and an interesting hop presence. Pretty dry and alchoolic, also. So it is an ok beer, with no big flaws but without anything that would have me come back on a regular basis. Beautiful looking beer, though...

Aug 23, 2009 Sample at "strong beers and sweet cakes" - matched with a bananacake with chocolate topping.
Clear golden with a white head. Fruity belgian yeast aroma, coriander and cloves. ´Light sweet fruity flavor without any bitterness.
