| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2005 The Lure: Sweet molasses on morning toast are always fun. Alcohol with candy fumes are often intruging. A tease of dark chocolate without delivery is rarely satisfying.
The Festivities: A drop of caramel in the chocolate milk. Nutty sweetness remains low-profile, as roastiness gains from the svelte body. A good offering, but apparently tired and about to turn in early.
Transcendence: I am told that cocooning is gaining in popularity. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Molasses-y flavor with tart grain husks. Baker’s chocolate finish. Nasty stuff. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 24, 2005 The aroma is dark chocolate and dark rum. The appearance is a black red body with a tan head that mostly stays and has pretty good lacing. The flavor is strong. Almost acedic in quality. Bitter coffee, rum, and chocolates. Medium full mouthfeel. Kinda flat and dry. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 24, 2005 pours a deep drak color w/ a small tan head that laces ok. Aroma reminds me of a rum and coke lots of cheap rum smell some light malt nothing else comes out over ther rum scent. Palate is pretty middle of the road. Taste is like a bad rum and coke overly sweet w/ an odd bitterness and a nasty shit rum flavor. Overall I wouldn’t drink this again.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 11, 2005 Bottle from LoweredSixth. Black in color. Soda pop brown head fades quicker than Mr. Palmero without the blue pill. Strange chemical aroma like some kind of glue, not entirely pleasant. Barely medium bodied. Roasted malt flavor with a touch of bitterness towards the finish. Fair.
