12 oz bottle. Clear light brown color with thin of white head. Light nutty caramel aroma with malty toffee and caramel flavors accented by a hint of toasted bread. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Not a bad brown.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium copper color with a small sized off white head. Light aromas of toasted malts, caramel light nuts and very light chocolate. Tastes of toasted malts, chocolate and caramel. Tastes on the weaker side. Body on the thin side too.

Very flimsy version of a beer style that doesn’t grab me...here we go! Strange dicotomy of palate: very creamy yet extraordinarily thin, almost watery. Thin timid flavor of light caramel and toffee. Very little in the way of hops of any kind. Not offensive, and yet I am offended.

Pours very light brown with medium head. Light nutty aroma. Toasted nutty flavor with very little coffee flavor.

When pouring out this deep amber colored ale, I had to do a double-take on the label. "Brown," it reads. Nice creamy beige head; good lacing. Another double-take on the aroma. Fruity with sweet malts. "Brown," it reads. A light, toasty malt makes up most of the flavor, but half way through some chocolate emerged. Nice earthy, bitter finish, but over all this comes across as an Amber/Brown hybrid. Drinkable.

This brown poured a very watery and light brown, very thick white head. Smelled like beer-soaked aluminum. Flavor was pretty decent with a bitter roasted flavor. I didn’t detect any chocolate, but I did pick up on pizza crust? Interesting take on a brown ale, but not really "burly" or very good at all. This would be a better red/amber ale than a brown.
