Bottle from Alexsdad06. Thanks! Pours a solid medium amber with a nice beige head. Nice aroma of dark bread and lager yeast. Flavor is heavy with munich malts and bread grains with a moderate spicy bitterness to balance it out. Some toastiness on an otherwise clean finish. Not bad at all.

Decent beer overall, this one pours a brownish amber colour with a nice soft sticky beige head. Noticeabley sweet malts midpalate. with prevalent aromas of balanced hops, cranberries and red licorice.

Bottle. Sort of a bland, not very sweet caramel aroma. Nice amber color with no head at all. Near medium body with very little carbonation. Sort of a bland not very sweet caramel with hints of hop. Decent enough, but not anything to get excited about. I suspect the bottle is atypical in that it lacks carbonation, but I don’t think more fizz would change my feeling.

Pours a rich amber color yet with a taste that is quite thin. It was an ok beer but not really what I was expecting.

Golden / light amber body, with a head that quickly dissipated. No real lacing. The initial aroma was malty and inviting, but its intensity dwindled right along with the head. The flavor was malty, yet it was rather weak. Very subtle hop presence. Tastier Vienna’s aren’t too difficult to find, so I doubt I’ll purchase this one again.

Bottle, not a great beer. I was pleased with other selections from Stevens Point in the James Page line, but this one really disappointed. Aroma was a little skunky, like a poorly made pilsner, flavor wasn’t much better, but did get a better with more time and experience drinking it. Won’t get this one again, if I can.

Bottle from Park Lane Liquor in Lancaster, CA, bottle states it is from Minneapolis, MN. The beer pours a glowing orange-amber color with a minimal off-white head that bubbles away to nothing immediately. Lacing is virtually non-existent. Tart fruit and light malt aroma. Medium-bodied with a tart fruit and pungent malt flavor that makes me wonder if this beer predates the Stevens Point ownership. Very little hops are present. The finish is fruity cough medicine. Pass.
