Medium dark amber with a slight brown tint to it as far as color goes.Small off white head with a fine lacing on the side of the glass.Malty sweet aroma with a mild hint of hops.Slight hint of lemon or lemon grass as well.Sweet malty taste, mild citrus to it with a nice hop presence. The alcohol what ever the strength is must be a rough guess in the 5-7 ABV range but it does show up in the taste, just not in a harsh way.The after taste was pretty decent with a malty mildly sweet taste, with the hops coming in to give a slight bitterness to it.This is another fine brew from these people and with a little luck they will make more as time goes on.

Heavy amber color with a small lid of antler colored suds. Sweet caramel malt and brown sugar aroma. Hints of alcohol and mild floral/dry grass hops. Sweet malty start with a buttered toast finish. In between there are some light fruits (raisins, pears and peaches). Not to heavily fruity to distract. Thick feel on the tongue, but light on the finish. Mildly acidic in the late finish which helps cleanse some of maltiness away and leaves you with a dry finish for the style. Kudos to slikwily for forwarding this one on to me. A very drinkable bock.

Decent caramel, and chocolate flavor. Mild and sweet body with good bock profile. Smooth and very drinkable.

Clear coppery color Firm, bubbly, off-white head, if a bit brief. Aroma: fresh, zesty, grassy, clean, herbal, vegetal, and sweet. Spicy, traces of toffee, subtle alcohol, a bit medicinal, with a turbulent sweetness. On the palate, a syrupy sweetness up front. A good, gripping, tasty body and texture. Nice taste, medium body, good, sweet finish. Dries up quick, though. Caramelly sweetness rides through. A decent, but unremarkable bock.

Bottled.Average sized frothy ecru colored head that tried to stick around but eventually fell to a thin layer; some spotty lacing remained. Nice malty aroma redolent of toasted grain and some brown sugar along with a bit of citrusy hops. Flavor upfront was of sweet caramel malt that carried through to mid-palate where a toasted grain-slightly burnt pastry crust character emerged. Hop character also emerged mid-palate; the hop flavor faded by the finish and only the bitterness remained long into the aftertaste. Palate seemed light bodied and somewhat watery. Refreshing and drinkable enough but I’m not so sure about the burnt pastry crust note and the seemingly watered down feel of this bock. I would still accept one though if offered. Thanks Slikwily!

Deep copper/amber colour. Mild malty aroma with a slight hoppiness. Flavour is mild and pleasant too but not particularly interesting. A very drinkable bock (actually I wouldn't mind having quite a few of these)...

No real aroma to this - has a nice thick white head with a lot of lacing. Light copper colored appearance. The flavor was not as malty as most bocks - tastes and feels more like an amber lager. Smooth drinking though - goes down well - stays strong to the finish. Would be good for session purposes.

Not a bad Bock. Thanks Slikwily. Orangish, brown. Malts & hops mix well in the aroma. Flavor is pretty sweet. The finish is dry and somewhat sour.
