Pour from 12 oz bottle. Coppery amber brew with thin beige head. Pleasant aroma of caramel and malt. Light bodied with lively carbonation – sweet maltiness at the start is balanced by the immediate hoppiness that lingers towards the finish. Ends dry with little lingering bitterness. Very well crafted and very well balanced.

12oz bottle 5/12/09 (Binny’s Plainfield)-Pours am orangish amber with a small white covering. Aroma of pine hops and malt. Taste of the same with some citrus and caramel. This medium bodied brew is not the best for its style but still refreshing.

Sampled from bottle: pours a big bright orange colour with a medium sized white head. Aroma is particularly hoppy, floral fruity. Spicey hops and generous citrusy notes throughout. Floral as well. Finishes slighlty off dry but for the most part pretty refreshing.

Pours clear bronze with a 1-2 finger white head that fades quickly but leaves some lacing. Aroma is spicy citrus and some pine hops, definite peach notes, caramel candy malts are weak but pleasant. Aroma seems very inviting to me. Flavor is caramel malts and a little citrus, lemon hops. Caramel malts persist and lemon turns to an interesting burnt orange/grapefruit in the middle with a little peach, grape (the kind you find on vines) fruitiness. Finish is clean mostly citrus, and pine hops. Just enough bitterness in the finish. Body is somewhat thin but fits the refreshing flavor profile. Overall its on the weak side for the style, it is on the more refreshing side as well...

This is a decent beer. Pours a clear gold with a thick white head and some lacing. Faint aroma of malt and grass. Flavor is fairly malty. Clean and straightforward. It’s fairly two-dimensional in flavors, but it’s pretty refreshing.

6-16-08 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to hopdog
Clear orange amber with little lasting head. Smell is mostly malty with no big hops in there. Flavor is burnt hops - bitter yet almost metallic. Not very well balanced. Overall, hoppy = yes, balanced = no

Lable said "Extra Pale Ale". Golden in color. Mostly diminishing off white head. Picking up scents of fruit and caramel. Seemed a little off balance at first but the flavors seemed to blend more as the beer reached room tempature.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. JPVPA pours copper-colored with a medium-sized head. The beer leaves little lacing. The nose is mostly hops but there’s a subtle peach aroma as well. The body is medium in heaviness. The flavor is unremarkable except in the fact that there is an unpleasant after taste that may be due to a skunked six pack. There isn’t anything in the ingrediants list that should give this beer a dusty flat after taste. Regardless, it is what it is so the score reflects it.
