Aroma is mild hops and hints of pine. Flavor is twofold the aroma with a bit of malt. Decent beer with a good balance and very drinkable when you want a pale ale that doesn’t have a big hop bite. $5.99 a six. I’ll buy it again often. detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 15, 2007 Pours from the can with a slightly hazy copper/amber color, about an inch of cream-colored fizzy head. As fizzy as the head was, I expected it to disappear immediately, but it didn’t. Sure, it backed down considerably, but a film and ring of foam remains to provide some decent lacing throughout the glass. Slight malty aroma, nothing exceptional, but not too shabby.
Mild malty flavor with a good amount of spicy/peppery hops. Delicious. Body on the light side with very prominent carbonation. Finishes a little bit dry, with more spicy hops and bitterness.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 4, 2007 Bottle. Pours to a lightly hazy caramel colored body with a creamy off-white head that leaves some decent lacing. Nice slow but champagne sized bubbling going on in the body. The aroma is citrusy with some pine or spruce hops. The flavor is citrusy with a light pale barley malt. Perhaps some juniper. Not bad, but pretty boring. Quite drinkable however. The palate is medium bodied with a decent texture and light carbonation. Definitely drying on the finish because it finishes so light and clean. Not bad for $0.99. If you’re on a budget, a sixer of this would likely only be about $5 after tax. muzzlehatch (4427), Burlington, Vermont, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 9, 2006 12 oz bottle from the Woodmans on Gammon Road, Madison WI (October 2006) sampled in early November from a Unibroue glass a bit below cellar temperature. Dark clear amber color with a small to medium lasting off-white head, fine bubbling in the body....pleasant slightly syrupy, piney-orangy aroma, somewhat resinous, spicy with a touch of oregano....dull but drinkable body, watery and thin but clean and fairly well balanced lightly bitter, moderately sweet texture....dries out a bit at the finish but I can’t find much to say about this boring forgettable...what did I just have? jazz88 (2237), San Francisco, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 9, 2006 Bottle. A dark copper color. A malt and slightly skunked aroma with a touch of grassy hops. Simple malt flavors with a grass and cardboard aftertaste. Rating from notes. chimpscampee (566), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 15, 2006 Maybe this is a bit watery but it doesn’t deserve this low rating since flavor is ok. -- if it didn’t claim to be extra pale people would give it a better rating. False advertising let down. Average apa TheDean (785), MIlwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2006 This is a great summer beer. Not overpowering in taste, but makes up for it with a peaceful easy feelin’ goin down. Ok, maybe I’ve been listening to the Eagles too much, but still a good beer.
