Jul 17, 2006 12oz bottle. Bottle looks different than the picture and is labeled ’Extra Pale Ale’ (must be a newer bottle?). Poured a medium and clear orange color with a large sized white head. Floral aroma with caramel and some citrus. Tastes of caramel and citrus. Tastes were on the watery side. Thin body.

Jun 24, 2006 Had this one bottled at the Stevens Point Brewery. Darker yellow pour than I’m used to, with a foamy tannish head, nose of hops and roses but really not as hoppy as I like. Decent.

Jun 23, 2006 Can taste the citrus hops, slight caramel malt taste. Color dark golden, with a hazy shaded appearance. The head was frothy, tan, and plenty of it. A light sweet taste that end quickly, nice finish. The body is medium with an average carbonation. Not sure I would try again, needs something.

May 29, 2006 A nice and simple pale ale, if it was easy to get id probably have a few in the fridge. Nothing to special about it. A hint of citrus and apple juice yeast. Needs some more bitternes and something else, something special to really become a great one.

May 18, 2006 Updated: Sep 27, 2007Medium copper colored body with a foamy slightly off white head. The The aroma is cheap orange juice with some light caramel and oak. There is not much else besides the citrus in this.one. The taste has some The taste has some grapefruit goodness with a litte bit of toffee in the finish. The mouthfeel is fairly full. I find this to be a pretty good and wel balanced APA. Too bad that Stevens Point doesn’t distribute this to Iowa.

May 10, 2006 Actually, this is quite a sessionable ale. Bright copper body and a short-lived creamy head. The aroma has some soft caramel notes balanced by a ligfht floral hopping. It’s a bit thin, but has a good balance of the caramel to the hops, which take on more of an orange zest taste in the drinking. Mildly bitter finish. Mar 19, 2006 Pours a light copper color with small head that didnt last long.Nice caramel malt aroma followed by a small hop aroma.Hops a little more distinct uopn first taste,but no malt body to follow.Light to watery body.Ok,but not fantastic.
