| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 6, 2004 My wife bought me some of this. Bottle pours an orange amber color with a decent head and some good residual lace. The aroma is slight fruit and some good hop notes. The flavor is sweeter than I anticipated, malty, hops to balance, and a lingering bitterness that is somewhat off. The palate is OK for an APA. Overall, not bad. Frank (1068), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 19, 2004 Pours orange with a slight haze from a massive amount of tiny bubbles surfacing. A good half inch of head lasts and leaves a cloud of lacing. Nose is bright and hoppy with some apricot notes as well. A bit thin on the palate with some slight harshness from overzealous carbonation. Flavor is dominated by hops more so than the aroma. Finishes bitter with a slight metallic note. shadey (1500), Rochester, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 25, 2004 Pour was a hazy orange with a fluffy white head. The aroma has a slight hops aroma with some citrusy spice. The taste was a sharp hops character. A little stronger than I expected from a pale ale. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2004 Pours an amber color with a medium head that lasts the length of the drink. Aroma of hops and spice. Very heavy mouthfeel for an APA. Many more hops in the taste, but nicely balanced by malt. A bit "dusty" as well. Nice! Falconseye8 (525), Cartersville, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 22, 2004 I love my APA’s I do I do. This is another very good one. Hoppy, bitter and smooth all at the same time. Very drinkable. Another very pleasant surprise from Slikwily and the rapidly changing opinion I have of Minnesota beers. Very nice, I enjoyed it very much. pauliefrog99 (302), FLINT, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 12, 2004 Poured an amber color with small white bubbly head. Light hop and caramel malt taste. Not a bad pale ale. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 17, 2004 Color is a clear amber, head is small and white. Aroma is sweet and soft and fruity, full of peaches and melons, among more.
Texture is airy and light. Hops are actually quite quiet and make little presence upon the palate. Balance is bright and fine, nicely rounded, malt is sweet, but, sorry, when you put it all together, it's rather run of the mill. Swwet, but short finish.
Tasty and nice and pleasant, but lacking the hoppiness that would have made it thoroughly appealing. The fruitiness is bright and sunny, but this pale ale is really lacking in body and texture.
I do like it okay, but see no reason to pick it up again, when Summit EPA is everywhere you look around here.
