May 18, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Pours an amber orange with a thin ring of a head. Light nose with some malt and hop spice. Pale malt flavors with a decent floral hop finish. OK.

Sep 23, 2007 Part of a sampler at the restaurant. I note that I had a cold when I visited and could not get a great sample of the aroma of the beers that I sampled. Not very bitter for an ESB. Decent and easy to drink.

Aug 27, 2007 Had this one on draught as part of the sampler at the brewpub in Ludington, Michigan. Clear, dark brown pour with a thick tan head, mild citrusy nose but not much going on. Pretty meh.

Jul 31, 2007 On tap. Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is floral hops and caramle malt. Flavor is mild caramle, grapefruit, slight lemon. Palate is medium to light, medium carbonation, finishes bitter. Drinkable.

Jan 11, 2007 Clear amber pour with a thin offwhite head. Decent aroma of floral hops and caramel. Flavor of floral hops and caramel with a bitter finish, the flavor as a whole lacks strenght and intensity. The body is light with a creamy texture and the carbonation is moderate.

Sep 6, 2005 Aroma of caramel malt with slight apple notes. Copper-orange with a tall, white, rocky head. Nice grapefruit hop flavor (not bitter) initially with a sweet caramel malt finish. Very well balanced and tasty. Medium body, creamy palate and almost dry finish. It was served a little cold.

Jun 30, 2005 Was very hoppy and a bit too sweet I thought, but not bad. Seemed the alcohol was prevalent. Not bad, but not great either.
