Clear golden color with scant foam. Slightly oily, creamy palate. This ale has a very slight sweetness, but is really rather boring. And it was served altogether too cold - I couldn't catch the aroma. It almost froze the glass when poured!

Only 3.5% ABW. Dry, marginally sweet and aslo somewhat lemony and astringent. Exceptionally clear and thin, watery, but thirst quenching.

Mild and crackery like too many microbrewed ’blondes’ and ’kolsches’, but with more substance and body, so more worthy of praise.
