On tap at the pub: Decent hefeweizen. Pours yellow with a decent thick head. Aroma of bananas and cloves. Pretty tasty.

Had this one on draught as part of the sampler at the brewpub in Ludington, Michigan. An outstanding hefe. Cloudy, opaque light yellow pour, served with an orange. Wispy white head with lots of banana, orange and cloves. Simply awesome.

Pours a hazy yellow color with a thin white head. Mild aroma of cloves and banana. Bland flavor of cloves and bananas. The body is light with an oily texture and lively carbonation. The yeast and ester presence is not strong enough to make this beer interesting.

Banana, clove and a hint of sulfer. The sulfer fades after the initial sniff. Cloudy yellow with a thin, white head. Nice flavor with a bit of the banana and wheat twang, but the spiciness (clove, black pepper) is most prominent. Sweet, but not candy-like. Thin body, watery palate.

Pretty much what I expected and was looking for in a Hefe. Smooth and refreshing, with just the right amount of fruit aftertaste.

Based on my ratings, it was a good visit to this pub. Another brew that was strong on style. Wheat beer with light body cloudy appearance wtih aroma and flavor that was good balance of wheat and banana. Each of the brews I tried had a very distinct pleasent finish.

A little acidic flavor components; otherwise a standard, fair-quality banana-laden hefe - looks the part. TOO cold!

On the estery side of the weisse world, though a sumberged citric tang does surface now and again to duel with the banana.
