Growler straight from the brewery about a week old, courtesy of my girlfriend :) . Pours a decent light golden color with a beautiful thick creamy off white head. Aroma is a delicious blend of fresh piney hops with a nice sweet caramel malt backbone. Very fresh and delicious. Slightly citric with some sweet fruitiness. Flavor starts with a nice hop burst that isn’t too overly pressing, allowing the pale and caramel maltiness to come through. Kind of fades towards the finish and becomes a bit bland before a final medium bitterness that lingers for a bit. Medium creamy body and a weak carbonation from sitting in the growler. Not a bad IPA, not as bad as some other people seem to think. I think its easy drinking and not overly bitter

Tap: Clean golden hue, small ring of foam and good lace. The aroma has muted piney hops, apple and apricot esters, bready malt and a hint of diacetyl. The taste has an initial sharp hop bitterness and acidity but fades quickly, some pale malts but not much depth. The mouth feel is watery, soft and with a touch of mineral. A underwhelming beer that lacks any character.

Part of a sampler at the restaurant. I note that I had a cold when I visited and could not get a great sample of the aroma of the beers that I sampled. Very strong aroma (noted even with my cold). Strong citrus aroma and flavor (almost too strong).

Had this one on draught as part of the sampler at the brewpub in Ludington, Michigan. Clear, medium orange pour with lots of rosiness in the nose, very tannic and bitter with black tea, strong finish. A decent IPA.

Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head. Weak aroma and flavor of hops with a lasting bitter finish. The body is light while the carbonation is lively. Lacks intensity, balance and purpose.

Draft at brewpub. Poured clear amber with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body with a slick texture. Medium bitter flavor with a medium smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.
