Jamesport Kolsch

Had this one on draught as part of the sampler at the brewpub in Ludington, Michigan. Cloudy, medium yellow pour with a nose of lemongrass and mild hoppiness. Astringent citrus but a clean finish, pretty good start to my flight!

On tap. Pours a cloudy pale amber color with a light, white colored head. Aroma is lemony, toasty, grains. Flavor is grain, some citrus. Palate is light and watery, medium carbonation, finishes lightly on the sweet side. Not great, but drinkable.

Draft at brewpub. Poured clear pale color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Light sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Soft drinkable beer.
