Brown sugar malltiness - some roast notes but mostly sweet
Bitterness too low m_peve (28), Bolwarra, Australia Jun 22, 2007 Little aroma at all. Minimal head that dissipated almost immediately. Strong malty flavours which are balanced well by the bitterness. A decent session beer. bridge (659), Sydney, Australia May 30, 2006 Sweet malt dominated brown ale, but the roasted malt is still there and more noticeable as the palate becomes more saturated. Some floral/fruit notes give it an english ale tilt. The flavour is ok, without being anything special, with the sweet maltiness and a touch of short lived bitterness hitting the back of the tongue in the finish. A very drinkable ale, hopefully this brewer comes up with more like this and less like their raspberry. Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jan 17, 2006 Spicy hop malt aroma with spice. Cloudy brown coour with reasonable head and lacing. Malt hop bitter spice flavour. Fizzy palate. vanvenlo (784), Glen Iris, Australia Jan 11, 2006 6 Nov 05 - Slight malt aroma. Cloudy medium brown colour, good head and reasonable lacing. Malty hoppy flavour. Big nasty bitter hoppy finish, not enough malt for the bitterness.
