This could easily the best pilsener i’ve had(or maybe an PA or IPA). lovely aromas of hop(peach, resin). tastes very fruity(peach again), resinous and bitter. great, great brew, almost unimaginable to believe this is a lager!. (Draught at MacKinlay’s, Stockholm) Colour is pale amber (no surprise, the word bärnsten actually means amber), with foamy head. Nose is fruity, hoppy with citrus and some roasted notes. Taste is hoppy with citrus, caramel and hints of toffee and nuts. This is a very nice beer, but I do think it was even better (and somewhat more hoppy) before. Very good balance between the fruit, hops and the roasted malt.

This poured a honey gold color out of the bottle with a fizzy white head that I had to fight to get. Sweet floral hop nose. Toffee sweetness with lots of citrus (mostly lemon) flavors. Gets a little grassy in the finish. Okay with food. Thanks to MrWalker for this bottle.

Draught
Golden color, small white head. Sweet, toffeeish, a bit of diacetyl in the nose. Medium-bodied. Malty with hoppy finish with toffeeish side notes. Ok session beer, but not very good one - overrated or bad batch.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Fruity (citrus) aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweet fruitish malty flavour with a bit both dry and oily palate.
