stobbe74 (700), Denmark Nov 14, 2009 Bottle, 50cl. Pours a pale amber beer with a white head. The aroma is malt with notes of fruit and citrus. The flavor is malt with hops and sweetness. The palate is fresh and bitter. Overall a good beer. SaintMatty (1213), Tallinn, Estonia Oct 12, 2009 Draught (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Gold/amber with a white head. Dry aroma with a hint of citrus and hay. Hoppy and citric taste with lemon, malt and hops. LanceUppercut (121), Sweden Sep 26, 2009 A nose of nuts, butter and soil. Taste is of grape, soil and citrus. The soily tone specific for Jämtlands takes over a bit too much. Dedollewaitor (3632), Odense, Denmark Sep 25, 2009 50cl bottle. Thanks to Madsnp. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Frain , hy and hops. Medium bodied. Dry and crisp. Fine hop bitterness. Frovigalning (404), , Sweden Sep 9, 2009 It poured a clear dark golden-orange liquid with a medium sized foam that left some lacing on the side of the glas. It had a scent of grassy hops, malt and bread, with a hint of caramell but it wasn’t very sweet. When I tasted it, it was very nice and smooth and had a taste of grassy hops, bread, malt and a hint of caramel. The bitterness was low to medium and a very nice lager. AlbertC (17), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 27, 2009 Really nice beer with the hops going on and a rusty-malty finish that lasts very long. A very good lager, if not the best in it’s price range. Sigmund (2273), Hafrsfjord, Norway Jul 8, 2009 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Unpasteurised. ABV is 5.1%. Golden colour, big white head. Moderate carbonation in the glass. Fairly strong sweetish aroma, notes of grass and maize. The flavour is sweet but also well hopped, somewhat alcoholic, appears to be stronger than its fairly moderate ABV. Better than Swedish industrial lagers in the same class (doesn’t take much, really), but this is not a beer I’ll buy again. Jämtlands have better beers than this one. drpimento (808), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jun 27, 2009 Had a glass of this at Akkurat bar in Stockholm. Served with a big, frothy, foamy, almost creamy off-white head and good lace. Color was that of polished brass. Aroma was malty, hoppy, and a hint of sulphur. Real nice flavor. Sulphur disappeared right away. Great balance between bitter and sweet and hop/malt. A tad salty. Good body and carbonation. Great for quaffing. Good bitter sweet finish.
