Firm rocky head, slowly diminishing. Nose is hoppy and flowery with hints of nuts and toffee, dried fruit and citrus (grapefruit, Seville orange). Taste is hoppy, starts somewhat sweet, turns into a long, dry, hoppy finish. Lovely hop character, dominated by Cascade hops. Hints of nuts and honey. Brilliant, this has been a favourite since it’s release, and it never tastes as good as it does draught at Akkurat or Oliver Twist in Stockholm. Moz (613), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 4, 2006 Sample at Indy tasting Dick’s BBQ 3/31/06 - Thanks MrWalker - I’m not a big lager fan and this one didn’t impress me either. Not sure if it was too old or what but I didn’t detect any hops. Aroma is skunky lager malt with some citrus. Pours clear yellow with a small head and no lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is thin and watery. Just didn’t do anything for me. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway
