Jun 5, 2006 (Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 3 June) Colour is golden yellow, with hints of copper. Firm rocky head, slowly diminishing. Nose is hoppy and flowery with hints of nuts and toffee, dried fruit and citrus (grapefruit, Seville orange). Taste is hoppy, starts somewhat sweet, turns into a long, dry, hoppy finish. Lovely hop character, dominated by Cascade hops. Hints of nuts and honey. Brilliant, this has been a favourite since it’s release, and it never tastes as good as it does draught at Akkurat or Oliver Twist in Stockholm.

Jun 3, 2006 Bottle. Golden colour with a fast disappearing white head. Hoppy, resiny aroma. Flavour is similar with a bitter finish. Light to medium body, average carbonation.

May 29, 2006 Golden, slight hazy colour with a white head. Malty aroma with a cereal note and a floral hoppyness. Hoppy and bitter flavor with a light malty cereal note.

Apr 22, 2006 Bottle. Small white head that mostly diminished, poor lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a yellow hue. Malty, hoppy, sweet nose and ditto for the flavor. Slightly tingly palate and light body.

Apr 4, 2006 Sample at Indy tasting Dick’s BBQ 3/31/06 - Thanks MrWalker - I’m not a big lager fan and this one didn’t impress me either. Not sure if it was too old or what but I didn’t detect any hops. Aroma is skunky lager malt with some citrus. Pours clear yellow with a small head and no lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is thin and watery. Just didn’t do anything for me.
