Served with a big, frothy, foamy, almost creamy off-white head and good lace. Color was that of polished brass. Aroma was malty, hoppy, and a hint of sulphur. Real nice flavor. Sulphur disappeared right away. Great balance between bitter and sweet and hop/malt. A tad salty. Good body and carbonation. Great for quaffing. Good bitter sweet finish. hirigalzkar (596), Stockholm, Sweden

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 28, 2009 Looks like light lager but taste is different story. Nice citrus feeling and some hops and bitter ending taste. So, pretty much everything is here what I like. dnoaksson (179), , Sweden

Beskan dominerar smakbilden även om andra kvaliteter också anmäler sig. Angenäm, men långt ifrån mitt förstahandsval. ChristianScheffel (4662), Odense, Denmark

Aroma of citrus hops, with a grainy note and a touch of diacetyl. Malty and bitter flavour with a lot of hop character. Tiny vegetable note. A remarkable flavourful relatively low-alcohol beer. A 5.1% imperial pilsner... FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Anna says: Restrained but clearly hoppy aroma. Hop tingle in the mouth is pleasant, and the taste is quite full for a hell. Milky, which was hinted at in the aroma. A bit of light malts but not too sweet at
all. While it looks like a filtered lager with a small persistent
head, the taste and palate have more in common with unfiltered lagers, with a creamy consistency. Bitter hops stay around but are not overpowering. Unusually, Phil did not share this.
