Mest ihågkommen för sin utpräglat skarpa eftersmak. Beskan dominerar smakbilden även om andra kvaliteter också anmäler sig. Angenäm, men långt ifrån mitt förstahandsval.

Yellow with a small white head. Aroma of citrus hops, with a grainy note and a touch of diacetyl. Malty and bitter flavour with a lot of hop character. Tiny vegetable note. A remarkable flavourful relatively low-alcohol beer. A 5.1% imperial pilsner...

Draught (Akkurat)
Anna says: Restrained but clearly hoppy aroma. Hop tingle in the mouth is pleasant, and the taste is quite full for a hell. Milky, which was hinted at in the aroma. A bit of light malts but not too sweet at all. While it looks like a filtered lager with a small persistent head, the taste and palate have more in common with unfiltered lagers, with a creamy consistency. Bitter hops stay around but are not overpowering. Unusually, Phil did not share this.

Bottle, brought home from Systembolaget, Malmö. Thanks Peter. Pours clear golden with lots of bubbles reaching towards a large, frothy, offwhite head. Fine duration. Aroma has a great flowery and fruity hops character with some doughy malts in the background. Highish carbonation, thin-ish, but very dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet and malty with a great presence of hoppy bitterness. Some fruitiness, light apple, hay, sugary malts and lime all mix up to one of the deservedly best lagers in the world.

Draught @ STBOWF. Stockholm Beer Festival 2008, Sweden.
Clear medium orange color with a average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, moderate hoppy, grass, citrus, lime shell. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [270908]
