Beautiful, golden, nice head. The tongue is bombarded with notes of flower, hops, malt and a hint of licorice, and even if it’s a lager, it’s more like an ale. The bitterness is moderate - and it’s a really nice beer.

0,5 l bottle. Golden to copper color with small head. Refreshing malty aroma with distant grapefruity hops. Malty flavor along with strong grapefuity, citrusy and herbal hop flavor. Crisp bitter finish. Quite suprising hop element reminding Brooklyn lager.

Bottle from the Systembolaget. This Swedish lager is dripping with gold Medals, but I’m sorry - I’m a sinner because I just didn’t get this beer. Light copper coloured and average head. Flowery aroma. The cascade hops came crashing in to the mouth, bringing with them electricly charged floral-citrus flavours and leaving behind a huge bitter finish. Unbalanced hop/malt combo and too much fizz for my liking, making the burp factor high and drinkability low. On the back label they say it’s a ’Hellava’ beer, but I’ll look to Heaven for my next drink.

Bottled. Clear, golden with an off-white head. Quite hoppy aroma, weak though, with pine. Pinecones, some malt, fruit and citrus in the flavor. Medium body and a nice, bitter finish. Didn’t impress me at all, but a nice lager it is. (061013)
