Dark ruby, lots of lace, foamy off-white head. Flowery "greenfields" hoppy nose. Hoppy, honeyish and medium-bodied. Flowery yeasty. Good average bitter with extra "flowerness" in the hopping.

Bottled. Red/amber colour. Small head. Doughy malt and citrus fruity hops aroma. Caramelly, malty, fruity and quite dry and hoppy in the finish. A decent ale. Thanks to MrWalker for this beer.

Bottle. Brown with a firm lasting head. Extremely malty nose with a lot of british hops also. The taste is also very malty with lots of toffee and with the hops adding flowery notes and a lovely fresh bitterness. This is clearly a beer within the British Ale tradition but it seems as a mixture of Scottish maltiness and English hoppiness. Very good.
