gary07734 (166), Tyne & Wear, England Jun 28, 2008 Pint in Newcastle area. Pours dark copper with a lasting creamy head,
Taste is lightly bitter and some hops, not much else. Enjoyable drink.
ritchie666 (20), Tyne & Wear, England Dec 1, 2007 Bonny bronze coloured ale again with tight white head that seems to be present in most of Jarrow beers. Roasted coffee hints in the nose and a nice heart presence in the mouth.
Appley fruit followed by pleasing long dry finish. Magic_dave6 (4012), London, Greater London, England Apr 17, 2007 Aroma was notable toffee malts, grassy bittering hops. Taste is againt a malty base with just plain bittering hops, very unadventurous ale. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Mar 23, 2007 Cask@The Pembury Tavern, Hackney. Golden colour. This beer is the sum of its parts. Grainy malt, lightly citric leafy hops. Neither character standing out and quite balanced between the two. This was pretty thin and dull however. reakt (838), Greater London, England Mar 18, 2007 Updated: Sep 2, 2007cask @ pembury. Thanks again to paul for sharing, especially since I quite enjoyed this one. Dark amber. Nice combo of nana, cereal and rum in the nose. Hoppy taste of nuts and malts. Moderately bitter. Decent stuff.
