Fin (2005), Merton, Oxfordshire, England May 4, 2008 Cask at the Royal Oak Beer Festival, Oakley, Bucks/Oxon border 03-05-08 Pours with a great clarity light golden and barely any head to speak of. Subtley hoppy nose and some sweetness there is also some sulphur as well but not too much. Quite a simple beer but lacking in the bitterness to really pull me in, finishes with a sweet lemon tea flavour its ok and I liked it but felt that it needs more oommph..
imdownthepub (3937), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Apr 13, 2008 Cask conditioned at Coventry Beer Festival ’08. Pale gold with white head. Light hoppy fruity beer, thinnish body, some biscuit but with a pleasant hoppy close. Lemon, tangy, pretty good. ritchie666 (10), England Dec 2, 2007 Cask, beer engine @ The Maltings, South Shields.
Golden beer with slight white head, citrusy hops in the nose with a sour note. almost peachy fruit is the first impression followed by nice not overly hoppy dry finish. Magic_dave6 (3476), Glasgow, Scotland Nov 20, 2007 Blackfriars. Aroma is citrus, grassy, biscuity sweet pale malts. Taste is similar, grassy and almost balanced, very fresh green hop character, thats outstanding. hughie (2054), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England May 28, 2007 Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Gold with a small white head. A little sulphur in the aroma at first. Very sweet to start with, but the middle was empty: perhaps a little citric sourness before the bitterness.
