Poured out an awesome very burnt orange brew with red hues, crystal clear, usual small white cap but this time it was very creamy and gave out entire glass lacing the whole way through. Perfection in a glass. The aroma was concentrated raspberry syrup that is not overwhelmingly sweet. Almost like a raspberry sorbet. Boring and lacks vision big time. Obvious raspberry taste that seems fake and is probably just syrup. Decent biscuit malts in the middle.... a so-so beer at best.... just got my plate of "mall quality" over greasy fries... fuckers. Smooth and very tangy, good sour middle even if just for a second. Finishes empty.

Draft 6 oz at the brewpub; Almost pink, watery looking and still. No real discernable aroma and the berry flavor is restrained too. Very, very light. Made for non beer drinkers I think. Well made, I supposed, but I don’t think I’d seek this out again. (#2889, 5/15/2007)
