Bottle. Cloudy orange amber with pale brown head. Aroma banana, cloves, wheat. Taste sweet wheat, malt and a little hopp bitterness. This is a nice weizen bock, but what has a weizen bock to do with christmas ?

Bottled. Dense amber coloured. Unclear. Light beige dense head. Cloves, orange, sweetness, fruits and light and light liqourice in the nose. Flavour of fruits, sweetness, spice and light orange peel in the flavour. Flavour is less distinct than the aroma. Medium bodied. Sweetish spiced end.

A Mes rate. Bottle at Borefts 10am day after hotel tasting.
Murky amber orange with a lasting off white head. Something very English about this one and I can’t put my finger on it. All the usual caramel and spice that you would expect are there but there is a toally unexpected marmalade character giving plenty of fruity flavour and a little zing round the edges of the palate. Nice.

Bottle at home. Hazy orange with a light tan head. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, brown sugar, notes of fruit), light hoppy. Flavor very sweet, light bitter. Medium body. OK.

It’s unclear, dark red amber and the head is creamy. The aroma is perfumed fruity with hints of yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, clove, wheat and quite some fruit. It’s soft and quite nice, but not really a weizen bock IMO.

Cloudy brown with a light brown head. Aromatic wheat notes with some heavy spicy cloves. Flavor is sweet and spicy with lots of cloves and only a minor bitterness. Standard christmas brew, not sure about cloves in beers but its alright in this one.

Botella. Hazy amber brown colour. Medium beige looking head. Sweet aroma of caramel, some fruit and spice. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant fruity spiced caramel flavour.
