Jul 14, 2009 Draught at the brewpub, medium brown with reddish streaks and a touch of hazyness, aromas of roasted malt and barnyard, all a bit to light. Flavours of caramel, biscuit with whiffs of smoke and barbecued meat. Just barley qualifies as a dunkel, could have been a lot more assertive.

Jul 13, 2009 Red to brown liquid with a medium off-white head, pleasant aroma of honey and caramel, bread to biscuit flavors with nice roasted tones, nutty to bitter finish, I wish this one had a stronger flavors.

Jul 6, 2009 Overall nice and refreshing. Good bread and malt aromae, a bit floral. Nice on the palate, good finish. Best among the brewery’s beer at the moment.

Jun 2, 2009 Draught sample at the brewpub. Dark brown color with red hues. Aroma of toasted malt and a bit of caramel. Sweetish malty flavor with hints of butter and some caramel. Medium-bodied.
