Sweet candy malts, brioche bread notes. Pepper and ripe apricot packed into a soapy looking blond beer. Balance is not good, mediocre at best. Strangebrewer (208), Chatham, Ontario, Canada Oct 27, 2009 bottle. Poured clear gold with some sediment and a huge white head. Sparkling carbonation. Hefty aroma of alcohol and peppery spice. Mouthfeel was much more mild than I expected, very smooth. Sweet malty corn grain flavour with a buttery quality to it. Low bitterness. I friend brought this back from a trip, I wish he had brought more. MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Aug 3, 2009 A Mes rate: bottle from Kris Wines.
