Copper, slightly hazy with a nice head. The aroma has notes of fruit, caramel/malt. The flavour has notes of caramel, fruit and a hint of citrus in the relatively bitter finish.

Bottle -- Clear yellowy amber with large dense head with good retention and good lacing. Prominant aroma of malt and hops. Next to no carbonation (although my bottle is past its use-by date) and medium palate. The flavour is oh so English, with hops and malt again. Very nice beer.

500 ml bottle. Golden amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. Toffee, bread, and fruity aroma. Starts acidic with some light caramel and bready malts, finishing with a lingering fruity and acidic bitterness. Medium bodied, lightly fizzy mouthfeel. Standard bottled English Bitter.

30 June 2006 - Light sweet biscuit malt and floral hop aroma. Brown-amber colour, good head and suds lacing. Big floral hop and lightt sweet flavour. big hop floral finish but too much for me.
