Some carbonation. Small white head. Citrus hop aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a crisp and dry bitter malt finish.
fonefan (4045), Ulfborg, Denmark Aug 16, 2007 Cask (handpump) @ The Plough Inn, WA2, Houghton Green. Clear light amber color with a small virtually none white head. Aroma is moderate malty and hoppy, butter honey. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texute is creamy, carbonation is flat. Magic_dave6 (3476), Glasgow, Scotland Aug 2, 2007 Bon Accord. Aroma is noteable honey character, not over powring however. Taste is nicely balancd, hints of citrus acidic sick, hpowver not in a bad was on the finish. dnas2 (522), Yelverton, Devon., Devon, England Jul 30, 2007 Golden and slightly hazy at first: it cleared eventually, though. Short head and hardly any scent at all: just a hint of peach and grass. Quite carbonated and sweet with a dry end. In the mouth, there is just a touch of honey and hop but that’s it. Mes_and_Sim (3927), London, Greater London, England Jul 28, 2007 A Mes rate:
Cask at the Volly. Dark blonde colour with a decent head that leaves the most solid lacing I have seen so far. Slight hoppage with plenty of malt and honey in the nose. Same in the flavour with a little less honey, thankfully. Something a little acrid about it. Certainly not the best Jennings beer.
