Dec 15, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Dark amber without much head. Lightly smoked character with a discreet sweetnes and a subdued bitterness. Somewhat nutty notes, very drinkable and pleasant although not with the greatest personality. 090303

Apr 27, 2005 [Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] A brown beer with a small beige head. The aroma is light - what is there is of sweet caramel. The flavor is roasted with loads of chocolate, leading to a nice dry bitter end, but the body is a little thin. A very refreshing beer.
