Commercial Description:
Editor’s note: Formerly known as "Jensens Sherpa".

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Bit of lacing. Sweet aroma with notes of malt, (citrus) hops and a bit of grain. Fruity overtones as it warms. Flavour is sweet, malty and with citrus hops. Bitter, grainy finish with lingering grassy notes. Slightly oily palate. Overall better than I expected (the citrus hops were a plus, and it wasn’t as grainy as I had feared). 04-11-09.

50cl bottle at home c,ear amber small offwhite head. looks real nice in the glass. aroma is sweet hoppy, also a bit sourish below that. sweet, honey, faint dark fruits, cardboard. smells like beginner’s homebrew. flavor is sweetish, sawdusty, floral hops, faint dark fruits, not much bitterness. sort of okay flavor, but i keep thinking it’s not good enough. some bitter flavor towards the end , mild burned plastic or very bitter spices.

Clean golden color. The aroma is initially smelly, then grainy, then it shows signs of some yeast strain that must be very common in Denmark. It has a good body strength, but no particular flavor to talk about. Quite strong bitterness. Boring.

Bottle at EBF. Deep golden, small white head. Hayish nose with pear, like a lager concentrate. Warm malty, grassy flavor, little pear and alcohol. A boring lager. I’d certainly give a plus point if it was still called Sherpa.

(Bottled, EBF). Clear amber color, not much head. Grassy, pear-like nose. Flat mouthfeel. Grassy pear-fruity flavor. Quite East European strong lager -like beer.
