Commercial Description:
Jürgy’s Lager is brewed with a finest blend of barke variety 2-row malt and rye. The malt flavor is balanced with the spicy aroma and flavor of Hallertau and U.S. Perle hops. This full body beer will satisfy your hoppy, rye cravings.

Pours a dark brown with a slight reddish orange color and a white head. Aroma was slightly roasty and a little earthy hoppiness. Flavor was really crisp and easy to drink I would totally buy this one if i had access to it. A light caramel sweetness also.

Thanks to riversideAK for this bottle. Pours a dark amber with small white head. Some hops, but mostly rasted malt nose. Flavor at first is citrus hoppy then this medium body ale is turned over to the light roast and nutty flavor. Finish is crisp and clean. Very different twist on a lager.

12oz bottle-pours a disappearing off white head and amber color. Aroma is sweet (weird) medium malt. Taste is strong ______? , spice, probably and herb (not tarragon but it’s both pungent and bitter and dark, maybe from Perle and rye being combined), medium malt-caramel, rye, finish is dry floral hops. Medium body. Interesting, occasional.

A mocha roasty aroma. The beer pours dark brown with and orangey red hue. Has a small white head as well. Initial flavor is a burst of citrus hops that settles into a roasty malt flavor with a little vanilla and some dirt. It starts very crisp and assertive and ends smooth. Leaves a coaty mouthfeel that is like cafe con leche kind of thing. A very unique lager. Also, as it warms, I can pick up some notes of rye in both the aroma and the flavor.
