Faint nutty aroma with some worty accents. Flavor has some malty breaded notes. Some honey sweetness as well. Mouthfeel is clean and smooth at first, but turns a tad metallic near the end. Thanks to Aurelius for this. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 9, 2003 A fairly decent, yet watery ale that won't offend because there's little complexity here. If you're looking for a mild, gulping ale while in Ocean County, NJ, you've found it. Contract brewed in 2003 by River Horse brewing, which is known for making some extremely mild ales itself. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 3, 2005 Be warned, this is quite a shock coming off a sampling of the Jersey Ale, and it’s much less impressive. Aroma is mild and watery. The flavor is lightly sweet, a bit flowery and doughy. Light hopping, light body, light mouth. Aftertaste has a cookie-like quality to it. Mild astringency on the lips. This isn’t a bad beer, perhaps a sweetish summer session brew, but it isn’t worth going out of the way for. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Small head and gold body. Had good carbination. Was good on the palate after an hour picking weeds out the yard. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 15, 2004 Very light yellow golden brew with no head and no lacing - I see carbonation rising up but it just disappears. Aroma is fint and bland - a little sweet. Body is medium thin, sweet biscuit malts, light hops - tastes like Goldings maybe? Finish verges on metallic. willblake (2187), Belcamp, Maryland, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 13, 2004 Looks like Bud Lite poured in a wet glass, pale yellow and fizzless. Had a head when poured but vannished promptly. Aroma is sort of corn and tap water, a bit chemical. Has a bit of a BMC bready flavor, could possibly be an alternative to BMC in a sports bar with wings or very greasy fries. No thanks. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Without sounding offensive, but reminds me vaguely of vomit. Anyway, thin head which does not last long. Minimal carbonation. Nice lacing though. Color is medium gold. Sort of a buttery/corn/cracker flavor that is different. Not offensive though. Finish is creamy and goes back to creamed corn. Not a beer that many will like.
