| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 8, 2002 Clear light yellow color with a foamy white head. Blandish corn-like aroma. Slight hop bitterness to start, the middle brings this ricey/corny adjunct flavor, yet the beer finishes clean. Average. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

It almost tastes like a quality microbrew, but falls a little short. I'd drink it again over Bud or Miller, but it wouldn't be one of my 1st 8 or 9 hundred choices. Unfortunately, not that great a beer. Maybe the bugs floating in mine did not help (flew into my glass and died without me noticing it), but this one had a bad aftertaste and little good beforetaste. Faint nutty aroma with some worty accents. Flavor has some malty breaded notes. Some honey sweetness as well. Mouthfeel is clean and smooth at first, but turns a tad metallic near the end. Thanks to Aurelius for this. Drew (2410), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 15, 2004 Very light yellow golden brew with no head and no lacing - I see carbonation rising up but it just disappears. Aroma is fint and bland - a little sweet. Body is medium thin, sweet biscuit malts, light hops - tastes like Goldings maybe? Finish verges on metallic. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA

If you're looking for a mild, gulping ale while in Ocean County, NJ, you've found it. Contract brewed in 2003 by River Horse brewing, which is known for making some extremely mild ales itself.
